Please note that a subscription to QuickBooks Online (QBO), and possibly some of their add-ons, such as QB payroll, is required. These are additional costs, and you will own your data that is stored with QBO.

About Us

Hi!

I’m Melissa Ortiz Delaney (CPA, inactive). I’ve worked as an accountant in the Entertainment Industry for over 20 years, but my love for accounting really began as a kid, when I’d help my mom reconcile our Quicken accounts for the family restaurant.

This love led me to get my bachelor’s degree in accounting, master’s in finance and was a licensed CPA (currently inactive).

I married a wonderful man who works for cool places like NASA and the Air Force. This meant moving away from the heart of the Entertainment Industry to the desert oasis of Lancaster, CA.

We love animals. We are proud pet parents to two cats and one dog who occasionally lend their furry support as I work. It is their beautiful faces you see on my website.

With work from home ending for most of the Entertainment Industry and the challenge of balancing family life and a long commute, I decided to start my own digital bookkeeping service company.

Keeping accounting books digital is a passion of mine; I learned long ago that having receipts and reports at your fingertips is more helpful and time efficient than digging faded paper out of storage.
